Hey everyone!
As you may or may not know, we are planning some site updates in the next few months. As such, it would be really helpful to hear what people have to say about the site and especially the forums, and what you would like to see in the future.
Anything would be helpful, and don't feel restricted to what the current site is based on or how it looks right now. The sky is the limit here!
If you have any ideas, please go the Site Suggestions thread on our forums and let us know!

A new game is under way with a demo already available. This was posted in the comments on the front page, guys if you have news of a game use the submit news button on the left :)
We have just released to the public our FREE Star Trek game based on the Torque 3D engine. It is title Star Trek: NCC1701 and features for the first time the entire original Enterprise rendered in full-scale 3D. This means players can actually walk the entire interior of the ship from top to bottom when all interior decks are completed.
For now, our playable demo includes the bridge and the shuttlebay (you can turbolift between the two), and the ability to fly a shuttle around the outside of the ship and practice various combat and flight missions.
Check out our website at gambitrealm.com for the free download link and more information.
Did I mention you can also play as an old-school Klingon and fly their cool fighter out of the back of a D7 battle cruiser?
Many things never before possible now are, check out the site to learn more.
Live long and prosper!

A new fan game is under way, Star Trek Adventures The game is set in an episode from TOS and they have a demo out. This from their site "The mission "Arena" takes place on stardate 3045.6 and is based on episode 18 of Star Trek The Original Series (also titled "Arena"). In this game you will relive the events of the episode as you must beam down to the ambushed colony called Cestus III and locate any survivors who may be able to give you clues to what has happened.
Among solving the mystery as to what happened on Cestus III you will engage in a space battle with an unknown enemy ship. Upon your encounter with the Metrons, you (as Captain Kirk) will be beamed down to an uninhabited planet to go face to face with a Gorn captain. You will have to use your brains and environment to solve puzzles and build a weapon that will allow you to stop the Gorn."
Looks pretty good so far, pop over and give the guys some support.

Sadly Lazarus has again begun claiming other modders work as his own, he is also pretending to be a part of the Star Trek Supremacy team, which he is of course not. Please avoid birthofthefederation.net as neither the mods nor the posts which have been copy and pasted over from the botf2 forums belong there, just avoid the place and use the botf2 forums for all supremacy news
Update on this issue, Lazarus has now stopped claiming the mods as his own and hopefully this can now be put behind us.
Some may recall a post from a few weeks ago about a guy called Lazarus who had stolen some mods and claimed them as his own. I tried to put him on the right path, even to making a few models for him to help him along and bring him into the mod community. Sadly this has been thrown back in my face. In a chat with the thief he said this, "Lazarus: ive no idea about modelling and texutring nevermind all of the other steps. easier i just may aswell put the other mods back on my own site and claim UDM as my own har har" I will put the entire chat in The forum for all to see, such theft in the mod community has to be responded to. If you are a Birth of the Federation modder or are looking for Birth of the Federation mods avoid This Thieving Bastard and use the Armada Fleet Command site as it is the major resource for all things BOTF.
