CdrWolfe has released the latest version of his combat system. This new update adds several new features to the combat system, such as Shield effects, Pulse Phaser weapons, and voice feedback from ship officers. You can download the combat system from the download section -> combat system on the left of this portal. You will need to be logged in before you can access the files. Once downloaded, unzip it to C:/Demo - do NOT unzip it anywhere else, not even to another drive or Program Files/Demo as the program will not recognise the location. The program is also case-sensitive. You will also need to install .Net 3.5 SP1 to play the demo. If you can play the latest version of Supremacy, you already have this installed. Once you've met the play requirements and unzipped the files to the correct location, simply click on the file called "Click me to run demo" to run the demo. Please post all feedback on the combat system in This Thread.

Well we've almost come to the end of 2008, and now we're looking forward to 2009 and the news, games, and mods that might be coming in the future. Jigalypuff has broken from his self-imposed vow of silence and has released a new video of what he has been working on. The video is a test of the shaders that will be used in New Beginnings and a previously unannounced project that Jig has been working on called Forbidden World: A Chronicle of Mars. Check out the video Here. What is the strange corridor through which the person walks? Where does it lead? Is the person Darth Vader? Watch the video and see for yourself... NB: You might notice some areas where the screen turns blue in the video - this is not a fault of the graphics program, but is a fault with the way Camtasia (The video recording program) works. Jig has also released an early render of some of the new aliens that will be in the game. The backstory is that in the wake of the Dominion war, Cardassia began expanding away from the Federation, out towards the galactic rim. But what they discovered was something that would have been better left alone...

Mstrobel has released a christmas present for everyone - a new update for Star Trek: Supremacy. The built in auto-updater will download the update the next time you run the game. The update process may take a few minutes depending on your computer - just leave it on the menu screen for a few minutes and the update box will appear and notify you of the update. For anyone that doesn't have the game, or has an old copy that doesn't include the updater, you can get a newer copy of the game from Here. For anyone that wants to know, I've posted a quick runthrough of what the update contains in This Post On Our Forums. Merry christmas everyone!

Posted recently on Armada Fleet Command Botf Site Hello everyone,
My name is Joel and I am a Disabled American. I fill my days by designing websites and making them freely available to the public.
I too am an avid BOTF player.
I have been coming back to this website for all my BOTF needs, the bottom line is that it is convient to have a Nexus of all things BOTF.
I have thought about designing BOTF mods before and have done such. Mostly just for private play.
Now is my time to give back to the community and become something more than just surviving.
It is my intention (of which I have the skill) to design a Star Trek BOTF MMOG, for play on the web.
The game would be designed entirely in PHP,html, css, and javascript.
It will be playable entirely from a browser.
There will be no turns, but instead everything will be handled in real time.
I am quite excited about the possibility of it all and have purchased the .com, .net, and .org TLD of the domain name I intend to use for the project.
Where I will need help is with things such as game art (ships, buildings, etc).
If ANYONE would like to be a part of this project, I would welcome the help greatly. Any help you could give would be beneficial.
With that said I am going to use the resouces of this site, and play a game or two of BOTF to get inspired.
Let's make this happen!
Engage,
~CaptainNet Go check it out And leave joel feedback here
