Star Trek: Supremacy Update

Mike Strobel, the developer of Star Trek: Supremacy, has released an update for his game. This is the first update since Christmas, and the update includes, amongst other things, new screens and menus, new music, new ships, new buildings, a random events system, and a whole host of other updates. We highly recommend updating your game. To download the update, just load up your existing copy of the game, leave it on the menu screen for a few minutes, and the built-in auto-updater will notify you of the update and ask whether you want to update your game.

If you haven't played the game before, Supremacy is a 4X (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate) game that is being built as a spiritual successor to the old 1999 Microprose game, Star Trek The Next Generation: Birth of the Federation. It is a game being built by the fans, for the fans, and is completely free to play. You can find out more about the game, the installation requirements, and find the download links, in This Thread.

If you encounter any problems downloading the update, try clearing your %TEMP%\UAB folder. You can access this folder by clicking Start -> Run then type "%TEMP%\UAB" (Without the quotes) in the box that appears, then press enter. The Temp/UAB folder Window should load up. If you can see any files or folders in the UAB folder, delete all of them, then try running the update again. If the update still doesn't work, please post about it in the above link. Please also report any other game errors in the above link.

Have fun. Smile
